Osteopathy is a manual therapy in which the osteopath examines and treats the whole body for all physical complaints. During the examination, all
tissues are assessed, as any restriction in the mobility of these tissues can lead to symptoms. Osteopathy is a method that uses gentle manual (hands-on) techniques. Osteopathic treatment focuses on restoring the mobility of the various tissues in the human body. This allows the body to heal or reduces the symptoms.

Before becoming a qualified osteopath, I worked as a physical therapist in the Netherlands and Germany for 10 years. During that time, I worked in various settings with different target groups (children, adults, the elderly, and children with multiple disabilities), each with their own specific area of focus. As a physical therapist, I often encountered patients with the same recurring complaints where the results felt insufficient to me—something was missing. This led me to pursue further studies at the College Sutherland in Amsterdam. Since graduating, I have found even more energy and joy in my work as an osteopath. My approach is centered on root-cause thinking, looking beyond just the symptom location, and carefully tailoring the treatment accordingly. Actively collaborating with other healthcare professionals is also essential to this process.
Because I always want to keep learning, I regularly participate in continuing education and professional development. I also enjoy exchanging ideas and sharing experiences with colleagues both within and outside my professional field.
Cost: € 95, per treatment.
An osteopathic consultation takes 45-60 minutes.
After the treatment, you can pay by card at the clinic. You will receive your invoice by email afterwards, which you can submit to your insurer yourself.
